Check out my 8.1 mi Walk on Strava: http://app.strava.com/activities/277102868
With time running out, before I check back into the hospital for more chemotherapy and the major transplant, we’ve been enjoying our time together, taking walks, and enjoying Chicago. Today’s walk included Chicago Theater, the River Walk, Millennium Park, and some random side streets, just to see where they lead. I’ll still get visits from Liz for a while, but I won’t be allowed to see Olivia. This reality is really starting to hit me hard. I’ve been so spoiled to be off work and spending so much time with them! I love my little family! So thankful that my legs weren’t effected badly by this disease so that I’m able to enjoy moments like these! You just can’t ever take it for granted.
Pic along the Riverwalk.
We loved this park!
Up for another round!
Love pushing Olivia in the swings. Love the backdrop! Great picture Liz!
She loves to slide!
Playing with Olivia.
I love her!
Cool view from the park.
Sears Tower just a few blocks away.
Liz, Olivia and my unborn son in front of the Chicago Theater.
Ah crazy guy with lampshade on his head.
Getting a little grizzly. Hairs getting thin on top. It’s going tomorrow. 😦
